Representatives from Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, the United States, as well as U.N. officials gathered in Bangkok Friday to discuss what to do about the thousands of so-called “boat people” who have fled Bangladesh and Myanmar in recent weeks.
