Singer Bobby Brown asked for privacy as his daughter with the late superstar Whitney Houston remains hospitalized.

According to a police statement, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Georgia home by her husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend. She was revived at a hospital.

The incident comes nearly three years after Houston, 48, a singer and actress who battled substance abuse, drowned in a bathtub on February 11, 2012, in Beverly Hills, California. Authorities have said cocaine use and heart disease contributed to Houston's death.

Bobbi Kristina is the sole heir to Houston's entire estate.

Several celebrities including La Toya Jackson and rap artist Missy Elliott, who performed in the Super Bowl haltime show Sunday, tweeted support for Bobbi Kristina.

"Let's All Send Love Light & Prayers to Bobbi Kristina Brown!" Jackson tweeted Sunday. "Wishing Her A Healthy & Speedy Recovery!"

Elliott tweeted, "Still Praying 4 Bobbi Kristina."
