Thousands of people lined the shores of Taiwan's Kaohsiung's Harbor Thursday to welcome a massive, yellow rubber duck.
The sun was shining as the inflatable art installation docked at Glory Pier to the delight of the fans, some of whom had feared that Typhoon Usagi might delay the event.
The duck is the brainwork of Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, who has taken his creation around the world to spread a message of happiness.
The duck will remain in Kaohsiung until October 20 before travelling to other locations in Taiwan.
