Firefighters in Australia are scrambling to contain wildfires that are threatening houses near Sydney.
Crews on the ground and in the air are trying to contain the fires, which are currently just north of the capital.
There have been no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
Australia's Bureau of Meteorology issued a fire warning Friday for Sydney and nearby communities.
Last month, bush fires in the region killed at least two people and destroyed or damaged hundreds of houses.
