Iran's foreign minister has arrived in Iraq's capital for two days of talks.

Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Baghdad Sunday.

He is scheduled to meet with his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari and Prime Minister-designate Haider al-Abadi.

Zarif is also set to meet with Iraqi president Fuad Masoum, outgoing Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and other officials.

The meetings will likely focus on the security situation in Iraq where the Islamic State group has seized large swaths of the country.
