Thailand’s Ousted PM Impeached by Military's Hand-picked Parliament


Just hours after Thailand’s attorney general’s office announced the country’s former prime minister would be indicted for negligence of duty, the junta’s hand-picked national assembly impeached her in a secret ballot. VOA Correspondent Steve Herman in Bangkok reports this all comes eight months after Yingluck Shinawatra was forced out as the country’s political leader.
