US Police Shootings Draw Calls for Reforms

The shooting death last August of unarmed African — American teenager Michael Brown by white police officer Darren Wilson touched off weeks of racial unrest in Ferguson, Missouri. And as VOA's Chris Simkins reports, that incident — and other recent high-profile cases involving blacks being shot by white police officers -- have re-ignited calls for reform and increased scrutiny of police tactics, particularly in minority communities.
