Inquiry is a light-hearted laughter-filled show that takes a look at everyday life. This interactive discussion program provides a forum to discuss issues that matter to our audience. Host Akwei Thompson examines everything from where to find the best street food, to African comedy and storytelling, to the impact of cell phones on modern life. Akwei Thompson is originally from Ghana. He pursued higher education in England and Germany. Akwei developed an interest in journalism after he moved to the United States in 1991. Since 1998, he served with Washington radio station WPFW-FM — first as a newscaster, and then as host of a music program, "Rhythms of the World." Akwei’s hobbies include music, dancing, socializing and world affairs.
