About Issues in the News

Each week Anna Zalewski invites three prominent Washington journalists from print, wire services, and broadcast media to discuss the week's top stories.

The moderator and panelists comment on the week’s most salient domestic and international events. Drawing on contacts and sources at the White House and Capitol Hill, the journalists provide unique insights and analysis that go beyond the headlines.  They also discuss little-known but important developments, and add their personal insights to give listeners the "inside" story on what they see and hear in the news.
