Egypt Court Adjourns Mubarak Trial

An Egyptian appeals court has adjourned the retrial of former president Hosni Mubarak until next Monday .

The presiding judge adjourned the second hearing in Mubarak's retrial shortly after it began at the Police Academy in Cairo. The judge said he needs time to review evidence.

The original trial handed down life sentences for Mubarak and his interior minister, Habib al-Adly, and acquitted six of Mubarak's aides.

Mubarak, his two sons, Adly and the aides now face charges of killing peaceful protesters in 2011. They all have pleaded "not guilty."
