Ambassador Teresita Schaffer is the Director of South Asia Program of Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC.

In an interview with Voice of America, Ambassador Schaffer said that she thinks India’s Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee is visiting Washington to explain what India’s political situation is and how India proposes to manage things.
