Lisa Curtis is a Senior Research Fellow at The Heritage Foundation, focusing on analyzing America's economic, security, and political relationships with India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Events in this part of the world – such as the US-India civil nuclear deal and Islamic extremism in Pakistan – have made Curtis a sought-after source for analysis and commentary in the media.

In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service, Lisa says that an Iran-Pakistan-India oil pipeline might inversely affect Indo-US relationship. She also pointed out how China was trying to dominate in South Asia and the US is keeping an eye on it.
