Eastern states of India have been badly affected by AIDS. Some foreign countries are involved in this campaign against AIDS in India.

Italy is going to invest more than one hundred and eighty million Indian Rupees to combat AIDS in India. Particularly in the north eastern parts of India, including Assam and Manipur states, AIDS has spread badly .

Recent research has shown that the campaign against AIDS is very weak in this region and AIDS is on the increase primarily for the lack of information.
