The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) members on Thursday observed a 2-hour work abstention in the Appellate Division protesting a few recent judgments delivered by the apex court.

SCBA members stayed away from moving cases in the Appellate Division.

However, the Appellate Division full bench headed by Chief Justice Mohammad Ruhul Amin continued judicial functions amid the work abstention program.

Additional attorney generals and Anti-Corruption Commission’s lawyers also moved cases.
