Dr. Timothy Conlan
Dr. Timothy Conlan
Dr. Timothy Conlan earned his Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University. He is currently Associate Professor of Government and Politics at George Mason University.

 

Dr. Conlan is the author of seventy books, monographs, articles, and book chapters in the areas of federalism, legislative politics, and public policy making. His 1988 book, New Federalism: Intergovernmental Reform from Nixon to Reagan, received the "Best Book Award" from the Section on Federalism and Intergovernmental Relations of the American Political Science Association in 1998.

 

In an interview with Voice of America’s Bangla Service Dr. Conlan explained how the federal characteristics of American federal structure is reflected in the current presidential primary elections. He also discussed how different demographics vote in different states.
