Bangladesh Condemns Border Killing

Bangladesh condemned the killing of two Bangladesh Rifles personnel by India's Border Security Force on Friday, while the foreign adviser termed it a "serious incident".

Indian border guards gunned down two BDR men on the Raghunathpur border in Chapainawabganj in the early hours, BDR said, and at least one BSF casualty was also reported.

"We consider this a serious incident. We condemn the killing of the two BDR personnel by the BSF," a foreign ministry press statement said Friday.

The foreign adviser also earlier told bdnews24.com in an immediate reaction to the news that Bangladesh considered it a "serious incident", and will protest to Delhi after getting the full probe report on the facts,.

BDR had earlier reported that Indian border guards gunned down two of their men on the Raghunathpur border in Chapainawabganj in the early hours of Friday.
