Bengal Congress splits as a veteran leader, Somen Mitra announced his decision to form a new party on anti-Left platform. 

He said on Saturday that the Congress party has lost its anti-Left credibility after remaining in power in Delhi with Left support. He plans to organize a secular democratic anti-Left front to fight the Left in next elections.
