Dr. Zobaida Akhter is an Associate Professor of Bangladesh Open University.
She conducts studies and
research in different aspects of open learning, with emphasis on Gender, and on
Women's development through education. Dr. Akhter developed training materials
and curriculum for the NGOs towards the development of common basic education
program all around Bangladesh.
Dr. Akhter recently attended an
international conference of Commonwealth countries in London.Professor Zobaida also visited Washington.
