Zillur says Two Major Political Parties are Positive about Elections in Bangladesh

Dr Hossain Zillur Rahman , Advisor for Commerce  & Education Affairs in the government of Bangladesh has said that after discussion with Sheilkh Hasina , the Chief of Bangladesh Awami League and Khaleda Zia , the Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party that their parties have taken a positive attitude towards the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled to be held on December 18,2008.

 
Zillur said on Sunday that his recent meeting with BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia focused on participation of the former premier's party in the forthcoming parliamentary elections and pre-election atmosphere about which some continue to air apprehension.

He hoped that there would be reflection of everybody's good thinking in the future and formal or informal contacts will be maintained. Zillur Rahman also referred to his discussion with both the former Prime Ministers.
