Mirza Azizul Islam

Dr Mirza Azizul Islam , the finance advisor of the interim government of Bangladesh was recently in Washington. Dr Islam attended the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the IMF in  Washington.

In this exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service , Mirza Azizul Islam talks in details about the meeting and the World Bank's commitment for one billion dollar aid package to Bangladesh. 

He also spoke about the current financial crisis in the USA and its impact on Bangladesh economy. He focused on the successes and failures in the finacial sector of the present Caretaker Administration in Bangladesh .
