Chairman of Salim Group to Visit India, Trinamool Chief Plans Demonstration

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee plans to demonstrate on October 20 to protest the arrival of Beni Sentosa, the chairman of the Indonesia-based Salim Group, which is in the midst of controversy over agricultural land to be given to it for projects in West Bengal. Salim Group has planned for major investments in the Indian State of West Bengal. The administration is taking all possible security measures in Kolkata during Mr.Sentosa’s one day trip on Thursday.
