Visva-Bharati conferred Desikottama on Mr Vaclav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, at the Uttarayan complex in Santiniketan on Wednesday. Mr Klaus is the 133th person to receive this honorary degree, which is being conferred since 1952. He is the 34th foreigner to get the award.
