Osman, a Bangladeshi native told Voice of America that he did what he thought was the right thing to do. Osman drove the anonymous woman from the Hilton New York to an East 35th Street apartment. For a $10.75 fare, she tipped him 30 cents. But that didn't stop Osman to make his most honest efforts to track down the lady who has been identified by the paper only as a jeweler. After a flurry of phone calls, Osman was able to reach her and returned her lost bag.

The woman offered Osman a $100 reward, which he accepted to make up for the fares he lost from tracking her down. Osman Chowdhury is receiving kudos from all over USA for his honesty.
