Dr. Omar Farooq is a professor of economics at Upper Iowa University. He has developed a Kazi Nazrul Islam web page. He is also the founding moderator of an online forum on Bangladesh’s National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. Dr. Farooq has done extensive research on Nazrul. Dr. Farooq has also translated Nazrul’s writings.
Dr. Abu Mohammad Zakaria is a professor of medical physics at University of Cologne in Germany. He is the editor of a Nazrul collection in German language. He has contributed immensely in Nazrul Studies abroad.
