Dr.Yasmin Ahmed is the Managing Director of Mariestopes clinic Bangladesh , a NGO working for the betterment of fertility health of men and women in Bangladesh.

The organization works in almost every field of family planning activities including offering modern clinic facilities for the down trodden including garmets factory workers. Mariestopes also works with Government cells in Bangladesh.

Dr.Ahmed during her brief visit to Washington to attend an annual global health worhshop organized by the international Global Health Association, spoke to VOA Bangla on various aspects of her activities
