Shahriar Kabir

Shahriar Kabir, a reputed freelance journalist in Bangladesh, a documentary filmmaker, a writer, and a human rights activist has been in Washington to speak to officials from US Administration in order to build up a united force against communalism and religious fundamentalism.

In an exclusive interview with Voice of America Bangla Service, Shahriar Kabir spoke about the influence of Jamaat e Islami in Bangladesh and their connections with religious terrorism both in Bangladesh and elsewhere in the world.
