A three –day conference of the Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America – FOBANA is being held in Washington metropolitan area in Alexandria, Virginia.

It is the 23rd Conference and organized by America-Bangladeshi Business Association – ABBA.

Sharafat Hossain Babu Co Convener of FOBANA in Washington said US Assistant Secretary of State for South Asia Robert O. Blake was the chief guest on the second day of the convention.

He congratulated the Bangladeshi American community on the occasion. Mr. Blake praised the Bangladeshi community for their contribution in the US. He also mentioned that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised Bangladesh government's effort in uprooting terrorism in Bangladesh and in the region.
