Floods Kill 6 in Bangladesh

Heavy rainfall triggered flash flooding that killed at least six people in northeastern Bangladesh Saturday.

Officials say water washed away homes in the Habiganj district, northeast of the capital, Dhaka. Six members of one family were killed.

Major rivers also were rising, following heavy rains that were expected to continue in the region, which includes portions of northeast India.
