Indian Border Security Force (BSF) kills 4 Bangladeshis at Benapole

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead four Bangladeshi cattle traders at the border of Benapole. The deceased are 16 year old, Shobuj, Ahmed Ali, 21, Saddam 25, and Hossain Ali, 18.

The BDR and family members have said that these men were killed while returning to Bangladesh after purchasing cattle from India. They died instantaneously.  Their bodies were then dragged by BSF into Indian territory.

Although BDR claimed that only three people were killed, family members of the deceased and other villagers said that four people were killed.

According to human rights organizations, approximately 30 Bangladeshis were killed by BSF in the last six months,
