Proposed Tipaimukh Dam in India.
Atiqur Rahman Yusufjai, Chairman of the International Farakka Committee, a New York based environmental organization, spoke about his organizations attempt to stop India's construction of the  dam in North-East India.

He discusses the some effects the construction of the dam will have on Bangladesh. One of the major concerns is how this will cut the water supply in Bangladesh's rivers.

He has addressed his concerns and brought this issue to the attention of the public by holding seminars, rallies and also by submitting memorandums to international forums including the United Nations.
