The Bulbul was a literary magazine published from Kolkata between 1340 and 1345 BS and was edited by Habibullah Bahar Chowdhury and Begum Shamsun Nahar Mahmud. An edition of the selected Bulbul was formally inaugurated prior to the celebration of the birth centenary of Habibullah Bahar . It was inaugurated by the former education minister and a renowned educationist Dr Pratap Chandra Chanda. Amongst those who were present in the program included the daughters, of late Habibullah Bahar Choudhury and his only son Mr Iqbal Bahar Choudhury.
