The 21st FOBANA (Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America ) Conference was inaugurated at Wichita Kansas. The Theme for this year’s FOBANA Conference is , Bridging the Gap between Young Diaspora and the Main Stream .

Quaderi Kibria, a renowned singer of Rabindra Sangeet said that we must not forget to expose our rich cultural heritage to the younger generation of Bengalis here in the US .
Dalia Nausheen , another singer from Bangladesh said that we should take vow also back in Bangladesh for a fulfilment.
