Mizanur Rahman Shelley, Chairman, Center for Development Research in Bangladesh
is also the Chairman of Bangladesh Media Commission.
Dr.
Shelley is a writer, political analyst and a renowned TV talk show personality.
In this
interview with VOA Bangla Service, Dr Shelly says that the verdict given on
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s murder case vindicates the injustice done
through the killing of the architect of Bangladesh and the members of his
family. He hopes that this will initiate the rule of law long deprived in
Bangladesh.
Dr
Mizanur Rahman Shelly also spoke about other aspects of administration in
Bangladesh. He welcomed the pay raise but said that enough needs to be done to
derive optimum service from government officers.
