Mr Satyabrata Dam , a commander of submarine of Indian Navy became the first Bengali to eventually reach the peak of the Mount Everest. The whole expedition was sponsored and financed by Indian Navy. In this interview Amitabha Chakraborti, spokesman of Indian Defense Ministry explains in details the expedition leading upto the success.
