Malaria, drug-resistant TB flourish amongst Burma's IDPs

While international public health officials are calling for a stronger global response to drug resistant tuberculosis, New, drug-resistant strains of killer diseases such as Malaria and Tuberculosis are breeding amongst the Burma's IDP population.

Dr. Thiha Maung of Mae Taw Clinic, Mae Sot and Ko Mann Mann of Bag Pack Health Workers' Team discussed about the situation updated of drug-resistant of those killer diseases amongst Burmese immigrants along Thai-Burma border and the Internally Displaced People in Burma.
