Indepth interview with Nu Nu Yi Innwa, author of a Burmese Novel "Smile As They Bow." She was nominated along with other 22 writers from all over Asia.

Nu Nu Yi said this story was based on her trip to Taungbyone Pwe where spiritual rituals take place annually in Middle Burma. Some Burmese Ladies in their 50s took part in that event emotionally and they all seem to be relaxed eventually, she added.

Nu Ni Yi also expressed that those kind of activities are therapeutic for most women who have no way of letting out their frustrations due to daily hectic life and culture impediments.
