14 Stabbed on Texas College Campus

TEXT SIZE - +
At least 14 people have been stabbed in an attack on a campus of Lone Star College near Houston, Texas.

Two of the victims were critically wounded and taken by helicopter to a hospital.

Police say they have a suspect in custody, calling him a 21-year-old male. They are not giving information on him or the type of weapon that was used, saying it is an ongoing investigation.

Three people were shot and wounded on a separate Lone Star College campus in January. That shooting came just weeks after 20 young students and six staff members were massacred at a Connecticut elementary school, leading to the renewed debate about gun control in the United States.
