4 Killed at Native American Center in California

Officials in northern California say an attack on a Native American tribal headquarters has killed four people and injured two others.

Police say a woman opened fire on the Cedarville Rancheria Tribal Office and Community Center Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the woman launched the shooting spree during an eviction hearing being held at the center in Alturas, along the Oregon border.

The tribe's website says the Cedarville Rancheria is a small federally recognized tribe comprised of 35 tribal members.
