Afghan police say at least 14 people have been killed in a suicide car bombing that targeted staff of the Afghan Supreme Court.
Police say the explosion went off Tuesday as Supreme Court employees were boarding a bus outside the courthouse in Kabul.
The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack and said the target was a Supreme Court official.
An Afghan government spokesman told VOA 39 people were wounded in the blast. He said a number of women were among the casualties.
The attack came a day after seven Taliban fighters were killed by Afghan security forces after launching a pre-dawn raid on Kabul's main airport.
