Collision Kills 11 Egyptian Fishermen

Egyptian officials say a fishing boat has collided with another watercraft in the Gulf of Suez, killing 11 fishermen.

Security officials say 11 fishermen were pulled from the water Sunday and at least 18 men are missing.

The Associated Press says the other vessel involved in the collision was a Panama-flagged container ship carrying 220,000 tons of cargo coming from an Italian port.

Some material for this story came from AP and AFP.
