Israel has lifted a travel warning for Turkey that was imposed after a deadly Israeli raid on an aid flotilla of mostly Turkish pro-Palestinian activists.
The Israeli government announced Tuesday that the travel warning for Israeli citizens considering travel to Turkey had been rescinded.
A statement from the country's counter-terrorism bureau said "calm" had returned to Turkey along with an absence of large-scale rallies against Israel.
In May, Israeli commandos killed nine activists who were part of a flotilla that was trying to break an Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip to deliver aid directly to Palestinians. Eight of the activists were Turks and the ninth was a Turkish-American.
The incident prompted anti-Israeli protests in Turkey and elsewhere and also led Turkey to withdraw its ambassador from Israel.
Israel has since taken steps to ease its Gaza blockade.
