Series of Baghdad Bombings Kill at Least 25

Iraqi officials say a series of bomb attacks that mostly targeted police have killed at least 25 people in Baghdad.

Authorities say most of the deaths occurred in a suicide car bombing outside a police station in central Baghdad, and another in the northern district of Hurriyah.

Officials say Wednesday's bomb attacks also left dozens of people injured.

Another string of explosions in Baghdad on Monday killed at least 10 people.

Violence in Iraq has fallen sharply since the height of sectarian fighting in 2006 and 2007, but bombings and shootings still occur regularly.
