TEXT SIZE - +

One year after U.S. President Barack Obama's health care initiative became law, Republicans continue to criticize the reforms.

In the weekly Republican address, Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell says the law is too burdensome for states and businesses.

McDonnell also said the Obama health care law is unconstitutional.

Virginia is among several states that are waging a legal challenge to the health care law.

McDonnell says the law should be replaced with one that allows the free market to lower cost and improve coverage.

He says the law in its current form, "simply will not work."
