Iraqi officials say a suicide bomber has killed a senior military officer and three of his bodyguards.
The deadly blast took place Saturday in northern Iraq.
The Associated Press identifies the intelligence officer as Ali Aouni, saying the attacker set off his explosives as Aouni was leaving his house in Tal Afar.
