Suicide Bombers Kill 30 at Pakistan Church

Officials in Pakistan say two suicide bombers have attacked a church in the northwestern part of the country, killing at least 30 people and wounding about 40 others.

The blasts happened Sunday at the main church in downtown Peshawar as worshippers were leaving after services. Several hundred people were there at the time of the attack.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blasts.

Militant Islamists in Pakistan have carried out attacks against minority Christians and other Muslims they see as heretical.
