Indian officials say at least three people have died and several more were injured when a bridge under construction collapsed at a Mumbai airport late Wednesday.

Local reports say the victims were mostly workers at the site. The injured have been taken to area hospitals.

Authorities have ordered a probe into the incident. Poor construction is often blamed for structural collapses in India.
