Officials in northwest Pakistan say at least one suicide bomber and several gunmen have attacked a judicial complex, killing three people and wounding about two dozen others.
Authorities say the gunmen exchanged fire Monday with security forces at the complex in Peshawar.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
Peshawar is located on the border of Pakistan's semi-autonomous tribal region, the main sanctuary for Taliban militants who have been waging an insurgency against the government. The militants and their allies have carried out scores of bombings in Peshawar.
