| Monuments on the National Mall |
Every year, millions
of tourists visit Washington's National Mall. Many come to participate in
events that take place in the U.S. capital. But the Mall, the 4 kilometer-long
green space stretching from the Lincoln Memorial to the domed Capitol Building,
is in trouble. Producer Zulima Palacio
has the story, narrated by Jim Bertel, about the Mall's decay and the urgent
need for repair.
