Fifty people representing 26 countries took the Oath of Allegiance this week (Thursday) and became U.S. citizens in a special ceremony at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. The ceremony was in held in honor of America's July 4 Independence Day holiday. VOA's Ana Ward spoke to some of the participants about the significance of this day and their new life as American citizens. Jim Bertel narrates.
