NBC, the American television network broadcasting the Olympics in the U.S., says its ratings have soared with these Beijing games.
Americans are watching the Beijing Olympics in record numbers and some are getting a different look at China from what they often see on the news. VOA-TV's Craig Fitzpatrick talked with some people in the Washington area about their Olympics viewing habits and their impressions of China. Chris Simkins narrates the story.
